ThIS YEAR, the Shake & Stir festival team WILL BE revving up fans of vintage and retro music, vehicles, dancing, fashion and lifestyle living.

From rock’n’rollers looking for the best in 1920-1970 music to jive bunnies, fashionistas and grease monkeys - the Shake & Stir festival appeals to a variety of vintage life-stylers, along with people of all ages looking to engage with a diverse collection of traders, sponsors, entertainment, and so much more!

  • We are dog friendly, please keep them on leads at all times, respect others, clean up and look after your pets.

  • No, but they are available on Southbourne highstreet.

  • Yes, there are both available

  • No but there is a lot of public transport available with trains from Bournemouth and Pokesdown station

  • Southbourne has car parking in the village and on the cliff top. There is a lot of road parking available but we urge you to park carefully. The festival is within the community so we like to keep our local residents as happy as possible by not parking over their drives etc.

  • Fisherman’s Walk is a public park where you are able to bring what you wish (within the law), but we do have bars and catering throughout the festival site, which sell at normal pub prices.

  • No, but a donation towards the music in buckets provided is always welcome.

  • First Aid and a Paramedic team are available during the festival.

  • Yes, they are. If you experience any difficulties or have any problems at all while at the festival, please report it to any security stewards on site straight away

  • Cameras for personal use are welcome, no professional filming or photography is allowed; unless prior permission is obtained from Stir Events Ltd

  • Shake and Stir does not accept liability for personal damages, losses or injuries sustained at this event – including damage and losses to property and motor vehicles.

  • Shake and Stir accepts no responsibility if an act fails to attend or to appear at the time scheduled.

  • We have one dance floor located by the bandstand. Dancing also takes place on the grass and pavements around the festival. Shake and Stir cannot accept responsibility for accidents which may occur on/off these areas.

  • The selling of goods, distribution and advertising, etc. is strictly forbidden, except by official traders who have paid their pitch fee, and have the permission of Shake and Stir.
